Marc Martí wins three Letra awards!

premios letra 2019

Marc Martí has once again triumphed in the 21st edition of the Letra Awards, which recognise the best national visual communication and marketing works of the whole of 2019. We have won a Golden Letra and two Silver ones!

2019 LETRA CAPPARÓS

The Golden Letter in the category miscellany, has been for the work in the exhibition "The garden of nature" by the artist Paco Caparros.

We print all the artistic works on innovative materials such as chipboard (OSB or oriented fibres) and marble stone, and better known as brushed dibond, plywood, textiles and methacrylate. Many technical tests, of temperature and colour, were carried out to achieve the exact texture that the author required in his work.

2019 EXPO 100 ANYS AUTOMOBILE BCN

The Silver Letter to the best application of image in the coverage of an event, has been for the Work Exhibition Road to 100 of the International Motor Show in Fira Barcelona.

The printing, lettering and global decoration for decades of the exhibition. A turret at the entrance, a stand by Marc Martí, printing of the 40 posters on Pegasus soffits, manufacture of 10 technical cardboard advertising columns, and printing of posters on paper (theme according to the time of our archive) to be attached to them.

2019 LETRA BOSC ANCESTRAL VINIL

The Silver Letter to the best large format advertising action, for the mural produced for the exterior of CSIS.

An impressive mural of 3 meters high by 75 meters long, in the Institut de les Ciències del Mar of Barcelona, work of the artist Ana Rierola, where we printed all the material in vinyl and labeled it. The author uses thousands of microscopic marine images to create giant murals, and as far as the printing is concerned, she forced us to achieve exact colour and image definition.

We thank the Letra Awards, promoted by Veredictas Excellence Standards, and look forward to the ceremony on March 12th to collect the awards!

TERRASSA: THE CITY OF DANCE!

centre cultural terrassa ciutat dansa 2020

The Terrassa Cultural Centre has entrusted Marc Martí with the creation of four canvases to cover the front of the old Terrassa courts, advertising this magnificent ballet nerve centre in Catalonia.

This building was completely in disuse since 2008, when they moved to more modern facilities. As a result of this, it was in a very poor state which has now been covered by canvases printed in inkjet on microperforated material that have been mounted on a steel cable perimeter frame.

Where before there was a facade of an abandoned building, now we find the beauty of Isabella Boylston and Jame Whiteside, 15 meters high! A great job!

Marc Martí's logo at the Miralda & Muntadas Exhibition!

Antoni Miralda Antoni Muntadas. MM palmadotze

The PALMADOTZE gallery (palmadotze.com) celebrates 30 years of artistic career, and does so by opening the exhibition " Miralda + Muntadas. M&M", by the artists Antoni Miralda and Antoni Muntadas, authors with very solid careers and of great prestige at the international level. An event that is largely due to its directors, Pilar Carbonell and Anna Rovira, who alternate exhibitions of emerging artists with consolidated authors, with works that range from the second avant-garde to the present day.

The exhibition includes 30 pieces distributed in the three rooms. One of them, a huge vinyl that covers a wall of the gallery. In it, the authors show the acronym MM in all possible ways, selected from thousands of references, ranging from logos (such as Marc Martí's, which appears on the mural), which correspond to things and trades of all kinds, to found elements or diverse objects.

At Marc Martí we are pleased to be part of this great work of art, and we join the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the PALMADOTZE gallery!
